I had a bit of an airbrush snafu this morning and ended up losing a lot of time taking it apart to chase down a stubborn clog.
And so, while my disassembled airbrush was enjoying bit of a soak, I decided to use my hour this morning to put some finishing touches on a Kingdom Death piece that I started a little while ago as a little mini-project I started to try to figure out a technique for painting orange robes/cloaks/cloth.
I know that sounds oddly specific, but I find that sometimes, when I feel adrift, it helps me sort out my thoughts to just have to pick an arbitrary goal and pursue it incrementally.
Maybe I'll do a bit of a longer, more topical post in the future about the orange cloth thing, but, for now, here's where I left the Kingdom Death People of the Sun priest this morning:
