Used my hour today to continue to work on the Gluttony expansion for CMON's The Others.
I am also continuing to work on my "speed-painting in batch" tutorial in the background: it's getting pretty good! I will almost certainly publish it.
(If, for no other reason, than to be a sort of living corrective/rebuttal to some of the genuinely terrible speed-painting tutorials out there.)
Anyway, here are some pictures of the Gluttony Controller, again with a base of Games Workshop Firedragon Bright, because I'm a masochist (who enjoys making myself suffer by painting bases bright colors instead of just painting them black).
I tried to mostly follow the box/concept art on this one, with the exception of the hair and eyes, which I decided to lighten up in the interest of creating more contrast between the top and bottom thirds of the figure.
After all, when you're painting for the tabletop (as opposed to the display case), contrast isn't everything, it's the only thing:
